{"id":10667,"date":"2026-06-18T11:11:24","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T08:11:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vlavianos.gr\/?p=10667"},"modified":"2026-06-18T11:11:24","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T08:11:24","slug":"visit-of-sivitanidios-school-students-to-our-facilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vlavianos.gr\/en\/visit-of-sivitanidios-school-students-to-our-facilities\/","title":{"rendered":"VISIT OF SIVITANIDIOS SCHOOL STUDENTS TO OUR FACILITIES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We had the pleasure of welcoming at\u00a0our facilities students from the <strong>Glass Technical Education and Training Department of Sivitanidios School<\/strong>, accompanied by their instructor, <strong>Mr. Giannis Pagkratis<\/strong>, as part of an educational visit organized in collaboration with the <strong>Hellenic Federation of Glass Professionals (POEVY)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">During their visit, the students toured our production facilities and gained valuable insight into the different types of glass, their technical characteristics, and their applications in modern construction and architecture. They were also introduced to advanced production processes and equipment, including glass tempering, curved glass manufacturing, drilling and notching machinery, as well as sandblasting technology.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Particular emphasis was placed on the production of <strong>laminated glass<\/strong>. The students were informed about the various interlayer technologies, the differences between <strong>EVA and PVB interlayers<\/strong>, the operation of the <strong>Clave system<\/strong>, and the role of the autoclave process in laminated glass production.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Throughout the tour, our highly skilled production team shared their expertise and practical experience, offering valuable knowledge and guidance to the next generation of glass industry professionals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The visit concluded with refreshments and an open discussion, providing students with the opportunity to exchange ideas, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the industry.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to sincerely thank <strong>Sivitanidios School<\/strong>, <strong>Mr. Giannis Pagkratis<\/strong>, and all participating students for their trust and for honoring us with their presence at our facilities.
