The company VLAVIANOS S. A. presents a new system of glass balconies for glazing, very low height (up to 65cm). The Small Brace system is a modern and safe solution for applications where a parapet already exists. It consists of a specially designed one-piece aluminum profile of 50×65 mm cross-section, which is installed quickly, without decorative covers. The glass panels are fixed along the entire length of the structure using hard rubber bands, which immobilize the glass while allowing the verticality of the structure to be adjusted. The system is capable of accepting glass panels 5+5 or 6+6 mm thick and up to 65 cm high (the use of laminated – tempered/ laminated – heat strengthened glass panels is recommended), while it is particularly rigid and its use is indicated in applications where there is already a concrete parapet.
